CATH TURNER: WOMAN OF THE WORLD (FOREIGN CORRESPONDENT)
Cath Turner was born in Vietnam throughout the time of 'Operation Babylift'. At five months old, Cath relocated to Australia where she had been adopted into a white Australian family. Having struggled with years of racism; confusion and questions specifically around her identity, and heritage; Cath pursued a career in journalism + foreign correspondence, which saw her take on experiences, such as reporting on some of the most significant events of our time; getting reconnected with her Vietnamese family, and living in Kuala Lumpur, DC (Washington), New York, London and now Los Angeles. Cath featured in and produced award winning documentary, 'So Close Yet So Far Away', which was distributed via her employer at the time, 'Al Jazeera English'.
